I have missed documenting my umbrellas over the past couple of weeks. With graduation and moving fast approaching, my blogging time has been greatly limited. So...let's catch up on a few random happy umbrellas shall we??
We all appreciate generic brands of items that take off a dollar or so, yet are the EXACT same, right? Luke and I purchased delicious crackers from Target and looked for the generic (Market Pantry) brand to possibly save a few bucks. For some reason, the generic name of
WHEAT THINS struck a hilarious chord with me. Market Pantry didn't have to think too long about this name...see for yourself.
Wow...creative huh?? :) Random, but hilarious. Just wanted to share. Hope someone else thinks it is as funny as I did :).
On a complete different note...earlier last week I wasn't feeling too well. It was some crazy bug that lasted for a few days. Luke surprised me and brought me home a beautiful flower he found on his walk home.

My whole soul lightened up when I saw this flower. It reminded both of us of the healing flower on
Tangled, so we felt the need to sing the healing song together while Luke picked the perfect vase for the flower to rest next to me on my bedside table.
Flower gleam and glow
Let your power shine
Make the clock reverse
Bring back what once was mine.
Heal what has been hurt
Change the fate's design
Save what has been lost
Bring back what once was mine,
What once was mine
Like all flowers, our healing flower soon shed all of its petals. Yet, the morning all the petals had fallen, I seemed to feel almost completely better. I think it really was a magical flower :).
We decided to have a goodbye ceremony for the flower. It was so beautiful and special that it couldn't just be thrown away. So, we carried the flower to our porch and lit it on fire. But the flower was so filled with love that it would not burn completely.
Thank you Luke for such a gorgeous flower. Thank you flower for helping me feel better (or at least making the room smell pretty and being nice to look at while I lay in bed :) ). We will forever remember our healing flower.
Thanks for reading my random umbrellas from the past two weeks. Random moments keep life interesting and provide the assurance that there is always something to look forward too :).
Happy Umbrellaz!
